New warehouse delivered by Britannia for Spirax Sarco at their Runnings Road facility in Cheltenham.
Spirax Sarco, a company that is synonymous with excellence in steam system engineering, are benefitting from a brand new warehouse facility and operating yard at their Runnings Road facility in Cheltenham.
The scheme involved the construction of the new steel-framed warehouse adjacent to an existing and active warehouse. Other elements of the scheme included the partitioning of the existing warehouse, various modifications to its existing structure, fabric and services installations, external works associated with upgrading external hardstandings and below ground drainage and modifications to the existing staff car park. The project required extensive and consistent stakeholder engagement by our site team due to the nature of the site, and the close proximity of other businesses.
As Britannia’s customer, they are very pleased with their new facilities and acknowledged the project team’s efforts to minimise disruption to the site’s continuing operations while the build progressed.
Their Project Manager, Geoff de Pass of hdp Associates has commented:
“From the supportive senior management team to the project’s operational and commercial professionals, Britannia have demonstrated their commitment to meeting their customer’s expectations, minimising impacts on their customer’s operations and constructing a good quality product safely and efficiently.
I hope that we might be able to work again with each other in the not-too-distant future.”
