Key performance indicators

Britannia is proud of the way we do things. We ensure our services are tailored to ensure clients requirements are met exactly. We measure how we perform against a number of key areas:

SAFETY

We are Constructionline, CHAS and EXOR accredited and hold a CSCS Platinum Standard Certificate of Commitment. Our site managers from Site Foremen to Contracts Managers and Directors are SMSTS accredited, a first for the construction industry. In 2011 we received the RoSPA Gold Safety award.

RESPONSIBILITY

We engage in sustainable construction practices taking our responsibility to the environment very seriously. We are committed to achieving BREEAM Excellent ratings where possible. We minimise our effect on the environment not just on our sites, but in our offices and in company vehicles.

We have recently refurbished our Head Office in Cheltenham to include energy
saving devices from lighting through to print management and waste recycling.
On site we practise a waste management hierarchy - reduction, reuse, recycle.
Company vehicles are being changed over to fuel efficient vehicles.

CONSIDERATION

As a responsible contractor we ensure that we are considerate of neighbours and stakeholders on all of our sites. All sites are registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme. Having a well presented and managed site is key to our delivery model.

Our Considerate Constructors Scores averages at 32.7, this is a continuous year on year improvement for Britannia.
