Health and safety

Britannia's safety culture is a passionate subject which is embraced by everyone at Britannia. This is demonstrated by our year on year improvements of the Accident Incidence Rate (AIR) which is better than the industry target figure. This improvement has come from educating our staff at all levels and strictly enforcing our safety culture on all our subcontractors who work with us. Our commitment to Health & Safety has been recognised with a number of awards from RoSPA, EXOR, CHAS and Constructionline.

Safety begins from the conception of a project which is why we firmly believe that we should be involved at an early stage of the project to work with the client, designers and CDMC to remove risks from the project before it starts on site.
