Britannia is delighted to announce that during the Summer, they secured two civil engineering projects for customers near Bath. This work is in addition to the current project being undertaken by Britannia for Crest Nicholson Regeneration on the Bath Western Riverside development.

The projects

Working on the A39/A368 Marksbury junction West of Bath for B&NES Council, Britannia will start an 11 week junction improvement project in September, which will include localised widening of the A39, a traffic light system upgrade and improved provisions for pedestrians.

Also starting in September in Monkton Coombe South of Bath, they will be constructing a new access and formal car park with landscaping in the Governor’s Field for Monkton Coombe School.

Both projects are exciting opportunities for new customers and will be predominantly delivered by Britannia’s own civils workforce.

Damian Poulter, Operations Director at Britannia commented:

“We are excited to commence work on these projects and continue the improvements being made in and around the Bath area. I’d like to wish the best of luck to our delivery teams who will do a great job.”
